GENERAL
If you’re unsure, don’t worry — I’ll help you choose the best option.
You can read about each style on the Services pages to get a feel for what suits you, or WhatsApp me anytime.
Never. I follow strict hygiene protocols. Fresh spatulas are used every time — no exceptions.
Every 4–6 weeks is ideal. Regular waxing encourages finer, slower regrowth over time.
Your hair should be at least the length of a grain of rice (around 6mm). If you’ve been shaving, wait 2–3 weeks before waxing.
You’ll feel a quick sting, but most clients say it gets easier every time. I use gentle wax and soothing products to keep you comfortable.
Comfy, loose-fitting clothing is best. Avoid tight knickers or leggings afterwards so the skin can breathe.
This is rare but possible. Let me know if it happens and I’ll guide you with calming products and aftercare.
No — only the person receiving the treatment is allowed in the room for privacy, hygiene and safety reasons.
Patch tests are available on request, but not always required unless you have very sensitive skin or allergies.
FEMALE
I use professional-grade, low-temperature hot wax for all bikini and intimate treatments — never strip wax. It’s gentle, effective and ideal for delicate areas.
Yes — many clients come right up to their due date. I’ll always make sure you’re comfortable.
You can still be waxed — just wear a clean tampon or menstrual cup. Your skin may feel slightly more sensitive during this time.
Check out the Female Treatments page for a full breakdown of each style.
It’s best to avoid sunbeds and fake tan for 24–48 hours post-waxing.
MALE
Yes — I offer male body and intimate waxing. You can see all services on the Male Treatments page.
I use low-temperature hot wax for intimate waxing. For some male body areas, strip wax may be used depending on the area, hair type, skin type, or length of hair.
Not at all. My space is calm, private and judgement-free. I’ll guide you through exactly what to expect so you can relax.
Arrive freshly showered, avoid lotions or oils, and ensure hair is at least 6mm long.
I offer Male Basic, G-String, Brazilian and Hollywood waxing, along with Buttocks and Crack-only treatments.
AFTERCARE
For the first 24 hours after your wax, keep things as friction-free and cool as possible.
Do:
• Wear loose, breathable clothing and cotton underwear where possible.
• Keep the area clean and dry.
• Use any soothing or aftercare products recommended by your waxer.
Avoid for 24 hours:
• Tight underwear, tights, leggings and gym wear rubbing on the area.
• Heavy exercise, gym classes or anything that makes you sweat a lot.
• Heat: hot showers, baths, saunas, steam rooms or jacuzzis.
• Swimming, sunbeds and fake tan.
If you’re ever unsure, you can always WhatsApp me on 089 227 0945 for advice.
After male waxing, the main focus is keeping the skin cool, clean and sweat-free for at least 24 hours.
Do:
• Wear loose, breathable clothing and cotton boxers or shorts.
• Shower in lukewarm (not hot) water and gently pat the area dry.
• Keep the area clean and allow air to circulate as much as possible.
Avoid for 24 hours (sometimes up to 48 hours if you’re prone to irritation):
• Gym sessions, team sports, running or anything that causes heavy sweating.
• Tight jeans or training bottoms that rub on the area.
• Heat: hot showers, baths, saunas, steam rooms or jacuzzis.
• Swimming, sunbeds and fake tan.
If you’re unsure about anything or the area doesn’t look right, please WhatsApp me on 089 227 0945 so I can advise you.
Preventing ingrown hairs:
• After around 3 days, start gently exfoliating the area 2–3 times per week with a soft mitt or gentle scrub.
• Moisturise regularly with a light, non-greasy lotion to keep the skin supple.
• Avoid tight clothing that constantly rubs on the area.
If you do get ingrowns:
• Do not pick, squeeze or dig at them – this can cause infection and scarring.
• Use a warm compress and gentle exfoliation to help the hair work its way to the surface over time.
• You can use an ingrown hair serum if recommended by your waxer.
If you notice an adverse reaction:
• If there is intense redness, heat, swelling, blisters, or a strong rash, stop using any products on the area and keep it cool and clean.
• You can contact your pharmacist or GP if you are worried.
